Commissioned: The McKenna

This was a commission request by who wanted me to depict one of Battletech's fiercest warships: The McKenna Class Battleship.

Although many who are veterans of the Battletech world will bleat 'this is not the McKenna they know', you are right; it is based on (as requested by )  another re-design of this mighty vessel, but one done by uber-talent

Work on it was straightforward until I added texture; it then took on a life of its own; I had no other real reference material, so I envisioned certain elements on a technical level, like the heat-sink arrays.

I was going to do a livery on the hull, but wanted her neat, with a nice backdrop; classic Union class Dropships escort this mighty beast, with whatever Aerospace Fighters in tow.

Must admit, it came out better than I expected !!
