Description

Following the good responses to my Futuristic X-Wing, and the U-Wing Advanced, a TIE has to be done.

So here it is - the TIE/SF TIE Supreme Fighter, dubbed the TIE 'Spider'.

Why?

Some say, it's the way it looks, some say it's it predatory nature; others say it's the webbing on the hull....

When I saw The Farce Awakens, the TIEs in that were useless, and what - the First Order is still using 'OLD FIGHTERS!?!?!'

So I thought of a ship that was more punchy, fact, and hyperspace capable - and this was an idea.

I wanted to make this ship look menacing, formidable, scary, and modern.

I was inspired by :iconadamkop: and :iconthecentipede: in coming up with this ship.

There will no doubt that there will be people a bit peeved on what I said, so be it - only art!

The textures were a real joy to do - made the pic work well :)

So - comments and feedback most welcome!

a beautiful quality version of the TIE, great job! :) I just think it's sad that the TIE Fighter is placed as the worst star wars fighter, when in fact it would be the best fighter for a nation to use in its space force, when taken into account the economic aspects in a very deep way (which does not happen in star wars, where expenses to keep ships in operation and maintenance were never considered(well, as far as I know that doesn't happen))
