Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
"...it had evolved over hundreds, even thousands of years; what started out as a meager space station blossomed into a interstellar metropolis, vast in size and capability.
It was a literal nation in its own right, with a society that was born, raised and would pass away.
It could do anything here; take in vessels, build ships, and host anything it fancied.
The possibilities are endless.
So was where it resided, in a sea of perpetual darkness with infinity as its horizon.
A City on the edge of Forever..."
--------
I was inspired by art of gigantic space structure-scapes; so I wanted to have a go.
I was also inspired by Dusty Springfield's "Reputation" song....
This took time to do; figuring out the right kind of colours that compliment, and any backdrops; the latter varied from nebulae, to galaxies, to planets, but black space worked because it focused the viewer on the city.
The glare was to add something a bit more than just inky darkness.
I stuck to a minimal pallet of greys, blues, and red for it reminded me of the striking sci-fi films of the late last century, something that still influences me. The ships are the generic travelling machines.
I also wanted to make it a hive of activity, so I added lots of 'flying spots'.
Comments and feedback most welcome!

Hello:
You made an awesome illustration, I like the details and the shapes of the space station/city a lot. I can totally imagine it would inspire awe in everybody who sees it, first time or not .
Keep up the great work!
