Normally I don't do journals but inspired by a great friend, I am today.
Well, here we are, a month not far from Christmas and with the promise (in this country) of lockdowns over the festive season, our NHS is in deep doo-doo and worse is yet to come thanks to Covid 19.
Just to let you know, all commissions are being looked into and being done but the results will be next year for work is ramping up and being irregular at the moment. So apologies peeps - any I can get done before December, will do so. However, life etc... they are in the pipe (5 by 5) but the chances are very slim this side of time.
Meantime, I plan to (try) do a few short stories here, from know franchises.
Yay, I hear you cry... but they are not going to be the clichéd narratives that put me off reading most fan-fiction. I hope to do shorts of Voyager, Star Wars, UFO and maybe even Sea Quest. We will see where we go.
Meantime I hope you all are alright and safe - we are in some troubled times but I live in hope; I have seen a lot of bad stuff but we have to hope - we must or we don't even try to live and I try - we have to - it will get us through.
Just got to be strong.
So to you all - stay safe

My Fellow Deviantartists.
It is with great sadness, that I have to report of the loss of one of my commissioners, concept artist and friend, Dorian Sherratt - AKA DSherratt74.
I was told this terrible news by his fianceé, Jean, who were to have married back in 2019 - until Covid struck.
I do not wish to go into details but he passed away suddenly .
To those not familiar with him and his ideas, please visit his page.

Dorian was one of the first big commissioners here on Deviantart, who helped me forge my skills thanks to his requests for ideas involving the world of Battletech that then evolved into planned creations of his own.
Dorian and I use to exchange ideas on his innovations to see if we can broaden the worlds that he loved, envisioned or planned to come to pass. He was a good novelist who came up with an ambitious idea for the Battletech world and beyond.
Dorian was a likeable chap, affable, welcoming, bold and very ambitious. It is a shame that I never met him but our e-mail encounters reflected a powerful and artistic soul.
Alas, thanks to the way of the world, things got in the way of our communication as we both concentrated on our ideas and drifted - not out of malice but down to time, life and preoccupation.
Dorian was a visionary with bold ambitions, grand schemes but generous in his soul...
I will miss him.
I salute him and I will remember him.
So, I am showing off a few of the ideas we worked on and a link to his page.

When you can and wish, just say farewell to a creative soul, now on his way into Elysium and into the Undiscovered Countries that lie there.
Thank you for your time reading this.
