Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, you don't make me "uncomfortable." As a man or anything. You made me chuckle, then laugh out loud that Lucasfilm hired you to direct a Star Wars movie no one wants to see. Us men can't say the same thing you did in reverse without reaping the whirlwind, but believe me when I say how uncomfortable you'll feel when you witness that lackluster box office performance. Disney is a joke. And Lucasfilm under Disney is an even funnier one.
Hi all, anyone who is still reading this. I’ll try and keep this brief. As you probably know, my illness has slowed my output to a crawl and has been non-existent over the last few months. Our game are on hiatus though some I’ve given to friends to keep going in my absence. I actually got play some Brimstone remotely for an hour or two the other week. I am not certain at this time if I ever even will get better. I’m not saying I won’t ever return but that time will likely be years away even if it happens. I was also mugged return from hospital and my purse was stolen, and I have damage to the soft tissue in my knees where I fell. I’ve lived in this town all my life and despite being little, I’ve never faced anything like this. It’s left me very shaken up and afraid to go out, on top of my ongoing medical condition. I hope for better days but right now I can’t leave the house even if In wanted to. Now, I have a handful of pictures which I’m going to try and post, some without

The worst thing one can receive isn't hate
... it's apathy. Twenty-five years ago, if you told a teenaged me that one day, someone would make Heir to the Empire and bring Thrawn to the big screen, I doubt I’d believe it. First thing I’d probably mention would be the age of the actors and it would make much more sense to make movies oriented around Jacen and Jaina, and set it 25 years after Endor. Most every Star Wars fan accepted these movies wouldn’t be made unless recasting was involved, and no one wanted that. It wouldn’t feel the same. Now, if time traveling, world-weary and forty-something year-old me popped in and explain what we did get, I doubt I’d believe that either. I’d question the Disney acquisition; wonder what in the hell Rebels is, and ask why Han, Luke, Leia, Mara Jade, Talon Karrde, and various other minor, but memorable characters aren’t involved in some capacity. I’d probably be more concerned in finding out why the world is cheering on a war between Russia and Ukraine when the Cold War ended a mere

Biden's EV plans fails again
While Biden fumbles in Vietnam at the G20 the rest of his regime is failing hard here at home. Glorious leader of Energy I mean Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm set out on a four-day EV road trip over the summer from Charlotte, North Carolina to Memphis, Tennessee to draw attention to the billions of dollars the Biden administration has pumped into “clean cars” and green energy. Its a 9 hour drive or 620 miles according to an NPR reporter embedded in the EV caravan, the entourage had trouble charging the vehicles. The not so eco, eco caravan included the luxury Cadillac Lyriq, a Ford F-150 Lightning, and a Chevy Bolt. During a stop in Grovetown, Georgia, Granholm and her entourage found that there weren’t enough fast chargers available as one of the four station’s chargers was broken, and others were being used. So an Energy Department staffer subsequently parked a gas-powered car that was shadowing the eco-convoy in a desperate attempt to reserve the only free spot for

7 USS ENCELADUS, OPEN SPACE APRIL 26, 2380 When Enceladus underwent its extensive repair and refit at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards there were a lot of alterations made to the ship’s design and functions. Much of this was due to what had been learned from the experiences of Voyager during its many years in the Delta Quadrant. Other aspects came from Captain Harada’s personal views on what a starship did and did not need. Operational things such as more powerful phasers and photon torpedoes were a given, along with advances like rotating shield frequencies; something learned from Starfleet’s many conflicts with the Borg. Then there was the matter of the Aero-class shuttle, also known as the aeroshuttle, that was berthed in a special docking port on the ventral side of the main hull. Harada saw it as unnecessary and excessive. The Intrepid-class already carried enough regular shuttles in its shuttlebays to serve its needs; it didn’t require an aeroshuttle. So instead that space

Robyn Hood: A non-Disney Disney Remake
I can't believe I'm saying this, but, the Kevin Costner movie was far better than this. This is possibly more woke than Bat Woman, Ms Marvel, and Rings of Power combined: We have a gang of black people dressing up and robbing from white people to give to other black people. Yeah, I can't see anyone not liking this series upon its release towards the end of the month. A couple of predictions I'm gonna make: Robyn's gonna be gay(possibly trans), all the good guys are gonna be non-white while ALL the bad guys are gonna be white, it'll have an anti-capitalist spin, all the men are going to suck and all the women are going to be empowered.

6 GRIMALDI CRATER, LUNA APRIL 26, 2380 In all his years since coming to the future – from his time with the Orions to his time with Calypso and now as an actual member of Starfleet – in all those years in space, Garadun had never walked on the Moon. Hell, he hadn’t even been back to Earth until the Artemis rescued him and Cera and Magik. The ship’s mission hadn’t permitted Captain Tierney to return them home; but the Artemis dropped them off at Deep Space 5 and from there they got a lift back to Earth aboard the Tempest, a Miranda-class starship. Since becoming a shuttle jockey, Garadun had been to New Berlin more times than he could count; but that wasn’t the same thing in his mind as walking on the Moon. Not out on the Moon’s surface in a spacesuit kind of walking on the Moon. Just him and Magik in their personal spacesuits strolling along and taking in the lunar scenery. Garadun had had them beamed directly to Grimaldi Crater, right along the western edge. Out here there was

5 STARFLEET HEADQUARTERS, SAN FRANCISCO APRIL 24, 2380 Sitting in the front of the courtroom gallery, feeling uncomfortable in his dress uniform, Garadun watched as the prosecuting attorney questioned Commander Alison Walsh, the chief medical officer of the Nephele, the starship which had rescued him and Magik from the cargo drone and towed it back to Earth. As she spoke with ever-growing emotion her Scots accent became more noticeable. “So you would consider the conditions aboard the cargo drone harsh, Doctor?” “Harsh? They were bloody inhumane is wha’ they were!” she exclaimed. “Please describe the conditions as you found them after you beamed aboard,” said the prosecutor, Captain Grant, a tall native of Mars, turning to look at the audience. Along with numerous members of Starfleet there were plenty of reporters covering the story. It wasn’t often that a Starfleet commodore was court-martialed. “The ship’s internal temperature was set to two degrees,” she

3 SPACEDOCK, EARTH ORBIT APRIL 21, 2380 The observation lounges of Starfleet’s gargantuan and iconic Spacedock were perhaps the most popular places on the entire space station. The huge windows gave a fabulous view of the vast and open interior of the upper mushroom-shaped section, which could house several starships simultaneously. Starfleet personnel and civilians alike used the lounges to relax in and socialise, take meals or sometimes even hold parties; all while being able to watch ships coming and going, or simply sitting there parked. Sindari sipped her glass of replicated Saurian brandy and watched as an Intrepid-class starship came through one of the station’s four huge space doors and entered Spacedock, making for one of the station’s docking ports. At this range and angle she couldn’t see the ship‘s name and registry number, but she knew it was the Enceladus – her first starship posting since completing her enlisted training. After graduation she’d been assigned to the

1 CARGO DRONE NCS-251, OPEN SPACE APRIL 14, 2380 “Ooohhh yeah, I’m the type of guy that likes to roam around–“ “Miaow!” “I’m never in one place–“ “Miaow!” “I roam from town to town–“ “Miaow!” Accompanied by his beloved little Magik, Garadun bopped around the cargo area aft of the bridge, singing very badly along to The Wanderer which was being played on his PADD, Magik adding her own enthusiastic miaows in timely accompaniment. It wasn’t as if there was anything else to do. Although the Dominion War had ended five years earlier, the after-effects were still being felt. The war had cost Starfleet greatly in starships and personnel, and the process of recovery was still ongoing. Every functioning shipyard in the Federation was working at maximum capacity to replenish the losses, but it wasn’t enough. So old starships were being pulled out of mothballs and refurbished to meet Starfleet’s needs, whose resources were stretched very thin indeed. So now
